Sichuan Dolomiaea Root

The surface of Sichuan costus root is yellowish-brown or brownish-yellow, rough and with longitudinal wrinkles. The outer bark is easy to peel off, and a reticulated pattern can be seen where it is peeled off.

From a medicinal perspective, Sichuan costus root is warm in nature, pungent and bitter in taste, and enters the spleen, stomach, large intestine, and gallbladder meridians. Its core function is to promote qi circulation and relieve pain.
